We once had a prophecy that we were to be "A church for the nations"
We assumed, that it meant that we would be a church that would go to the nations.
We are certainly passionate about overseas mission. We want to personally, obey the great commission, that Jesus has entrusted to us, and support others to do the same all over the world.
Our Church people have ministered in Belgium, Canada, Sweden, Russia, Germany, Siberia, Nigeria, Ghana, Turkey, Laos, USA, Albania, Romania, Nepal, South Africa, Zambia, India, Malaysia, Channel Islands, Holland, Teneriffe, the Far East, Turkey, Albania, Romania, Egypt, India, Spain, Kenya, and Siberia.
We have supported missionaries in South Korea, Kirgystan, Teneriffe, Morroco, Turkey, Kenya, India, and Asia through ‘Gospel for Asia’
However, the other day I began to count the number of nationalities that we have in the church now, which gives the prophecy another interesting slant.
I have so far counted twenty- four nations In alphabetical order, we have people from: Australia, Congo, Denmark, England, Finland, Gambia,Germany, Ghana,Guadeloupe,Holland, India. Jamaica, Laos, Malaysia,Nagaland,Nigeria,Poland,Romania,Scotland,SouthAfrica,USA, Venezuela, Wales and Zimbabwe,
Additionally, in the past, we have also had members from Bulgaria, Brazil, British Guyana, Cameroon, Canada, Central African Republic, China, Fiji,France, Hungary,Hong Kong, Iraq, Iran, Northern Ireland, Iceland, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Moldavia, Portugal, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Switzerland, and New Zealand. This brings our grand total over the last twenty-nine years to forty-eight nations!
During the first Iraq war we even had British or American people or relatives of our people who were fighting in the army, navy or airforce and our Iraqi man had brothers in Bagdad who were in Saddam’s Army. We prayed earnestly for them all!
Please tell us if we have missed you out!
